HID's need to go into housings made for them. If you stick HID's into the current housings for the lights you will blind oncoming drivers. HID's need housings designed specifically for them, so this problem does not happen.
If your lights are bright when I am driving my Lighting in the summer, your in for a 400 HP front to back dance... uninstall them... ( it only ways 3900 lbs)
The UR's aren't as stiff and are nice and flexible... They stay nice and shiny looking. They're the real deal not just some cheap plastic with Rally Armor on them. You're gonna pay to play if you want the real thing though. I have the plus' and they set me back almost $130.
Dude go ahead and put on the hids they are not that bright and they don't blind anyone with the height of the car I have them and have had not a single person complain but don't do the roof rack cause that's just a "fad" right now lol,as for threats from a stang or lightning just go around a corner you'll be fine lol
I will when I get the money saved up. Like I said I have them on my truck and I love them
