How did this work out for you? I've got the sportlines already and I think I'm going to swap shocks out as well since I'm sitting at 36k miles now anyways. Are you satisfied with this set up? Any hicups along the way?

Don't bother, just spend the extra and get Konis or Bilsteins. I had this setup (ST struts, THP shocks w/ H&R springs), didn't take too long for it to start riding like crap (IMO). I recently replaced with Koni sports and can tell a huge difference in ride quality.

$$$ my friend. I'm just concerned with longevity as I have a base model se with the softest springs possible. I'm looking for the cheapest option out there to extend the life of the shocks without breaking the bank. I'm not really concerned with performance at all, just a proper look. Maybe I'll just install the springs with the stock shocks and cross my fingers.

H&Rs tend to blow struts, in about every case I know of.

From what I know, the Eibachs live pretty well with stockers, and I've got Vogtland springs on mine with the crappy stock SE struts - I think I've got about 35K miles on them still ok (55K miles on the car, kept the stock struts in when I put the Vogtlands on).

I hit two bad pot holes (crappy Tucson roads - near midwest/back-east quality roads in the warm sunny west) one for each side of the car, about two weeks apart, and I'm surprised they're still ok. Some days they feel like they're starting to go, most days they feel fine.
