To those who thought the car got worse after being driven,

since some found that - after warming up - the problems would start happening... how has your Focus driven now that outside temps are cooler?

Ambient temperature was 45F yesterday and my Focus did not make the blender noise even once... if this pattern holds up then there's a qualified and quantified direction in which to pursue... since chasing undomesticated fowl is usually a more costly endeavor, unless you like to eat crow after not catching those wild geese... I've found crow to be very tasty, especially with A1 Steak Sauce, but that's beside the point...

If it's a heat issue, I'm hoping a recurring pattern (as do we all) can be found to be fixed, since a blender noise usually means gears not spinning in perfect harmony, which leads to greater wear and tear and a shorter lifespan. With some mechanical acuity here, grinding noises are rarely good... but I fix printers as part of my job, and an automobile's gears is not the same thing as a printer's... but usually, with gears, a grinding noise is not equated to happy unicorns and florid rainbows... anything to point out a common situation is something the mechanics, technicians, and designers would probably want to know about in order to get a proper and solid fix made. If I made and sold cars, I would want to know of any issues, but that's just me...
