I do 20% city and 80% highway. Combined I average around 34mog. If i do highway only driving I average 40mpg going 70 cruise control. If I go 55 cruise control I average 44.x mpg . Overall not bad . I was averageing 13 mpg in my 03 cobra so it's like a gold mine. I easily get over 400 miles a tank with 20-40miles remaining till empty!

I get an average of 27.3. Not particularly impressive to me, but I drive around 65% city. No discernible trends over time.

31 highway doesn't seem right to me, my Dad took my car on a trip and got about 40 highway. Maybe you're keeping it in gear too long thus giving it higher RPMs and more fuel consumption.

Do you folks care to chime in on comparing mileage for the manual with 18" wheels vs 17"?
I would guess the lighter, smaller 17" inch wheel/tire combo gets better mileage than the heavier 18" in. Set up but by how much diff?

It's hard to tell because my car is still relatively fresh but when I put my soft winter tires on a set of 15" wheels (coming from the 18s) my average went from 31 to 33 mpg. So I'd guess there is small savings from 18-17.

I have actually been a little disappointed with my MPG thus far. I have a 2014 with a DCT and about 700 miles at this point. I'm averaging about 25-27 almost all in town driving but last weekend i did a 150 mile road trip all highway and i had a fresh tank of gas and i reset the display and i only averaged 32.5 with pretty much all flat highway non-stop at about 65 MPH. i was hoping to get closer to 40 on that trip. I'm hoping it gets a little better as the car breaks in.

17 wheels arent as wide as the 18. Less frontal area to work with aerodynamics.

And less traction/drag along with less rotational mass. All-around win for economy.

My SEL got about 2 mpg better than my HP-equipped Ti during the time I had it, but I only had it for around 1100 miles and I didn't take overly-accurate notes on it.

Have you noticed it getting any better with more miles. The wife and I have. On the highway according to the computer we're seeing 37mpg average at about 70mph. Car now has just over 3000 miles on it.

I'm at about 1200 miles now and it's slightly better. I drive almost all city mileage and i was getting about 25 and now it's about 27 so i think that is about right. The last highway trip i did which was only about a 100 miles i averaged about 34 so it is looking better now.
