Ya it just means it's not perfectly sealed. Do not use a heat gun, you risk cracking the lens when pulling it apart due to the uneven heat distribution.

Thought about doing this for a while. But buying just the projectors from TRS and the HIDs from DDMTuning. Saving a bit of $$ in the end.

Headlight opened and closed with Dremel Versatip, amazing tool.

Yes, melt back. Cut precise an regular in the opening and it will be easier to melt it back.
Flat blade to cut, large rounded tip to melt back. Need a lot of patience, however.
