Much easier than installing the actual shifter if you ask me.
Remove airbox, battery, take off the mount cover. Simple and the parts fit snugly.

So let me ask this. You have to purchase the bracket and the shifter for a 50% throw reduction? Don't know if I'm understanding this right

The shifter comes with the bracket, and together they give you 50% throw reduction. You also have the option of only buying the bracket, which will give you 35% throw reduction.

To get even more specific... The tri-ax shifter portion is good for 5,10 or 15% reductions. Add that to the 35% reduction from the bracket... so, you can go from 40-50% reductions using both (buying the whole kit) or just get the bracket.
