You could also use some of those 3M or similar velcro type "dual lock" kits if you hadn't already had holes drilled into the trim, or possibly also double sided tape like they can also use in Europe.

When you get the plate holder it comes with spacers to space it out to make it flush. It also has a billion different holes to mount it.

I am glad Arizona does not require a front plate anymore. It ruins the look of the car, because at one time they were supposed to last for years, but they end up looking pretty sad after a few years.
