Just got word of a better way to do this(If you have a sprayer and some paint/clear laying around).

I have gloss black leftover from painting my 67 Chevy C10 a few years ago along with some clear so here's what I'm doing:

Clear coat with a pinch of black paint, works and adheres better, plus I'll be using a pneumatic sprayer.

While I am at it, I am going to paint my Fog Light Bezels gloss black as well.

Also will be ordering the Titaniums' Black Bezel Headlights, they'll look sooo much better on my Ebony Black Hatchback than the chrome ones it came with.

Thanks dude. I did alot of small stuff for now and Its nice having almost every tool I need lol I usually work on cars my bikes and quads there. It sucks when the tools are all over the place then you get hit out for a call lol

Sorry to bring back an old thread but my question pertains to the topic. Lets say I sprayed my coats of nightshades and clearcoat. Can I sand down the 4-5 coats of clearcoat and add another coat of nightshades plus an additional 3-4 coats of new clearcoat? Or do I try to sand back down to oem and start from scratch? I have Oxford white and the deep cherry black doesn't really do it for me. I'd rather go one more darker and add led's to increase light output, reverse was taped off.
