Don't forget to add in the contributing factor of the increased fuel consumption due to the added weight of the sticker. You won't fully know whether the aerodynamics compensates for the weight until a detailed analysis is completed.

Though it is the cheapest 5HP that you can get...

Me too. I was driving the speed limit everywhere and averaging like 42mpg or something. But then I realized that

I'll live with my 37mpg and shave a few minutes off of my commute.

I was going to attempt upgrading to roller-type muffler bearings and a molybdenum-fortified chrome schmidifier. I anticipate gaining 3-5 mpg combined city-highway.

Haven't you heard? The oil companies have bought up all the patents for roller-type muffler bearings to keep them off the market. Don't know about schmidifiers.

Without muffler bearings, there's no gain to be had from making the chrome fully schmidified. Back to the drawing board.

Styling, that's some sweet ride!

There's little doubt that will help on the highway but there's also no chance that will be bolted to the back of my car...

I went with the lowz. Eibach Sportlines. I was averaging 28.5-29 MPG over the winter with a heavy mix of city driving. After the lowz and three tanks my new average is 34 MPG with the same driving.

You can see my profile for the rest of my mods and car specs.
