lol, yeah , good one.. I guess it goes faster if you charge on a 240v outlet ;p

But for what I have heard from actual test drives of electrical cars is that you do not want to accelerate to high speeds if you want to keep your battery life longer... I guess the same concept applies to gas consumption, right ?

I bought the 2012 Focus 5-door SEL with Ecoboost technology last fall 2011, I am satisfied with fuel economy and acceleration Power balance. I t took me a while to get adapted to the automatic speed shifting driving at speeds between 0 and 35km , now I know and got used.

If I had waited some months I am sure this is the car I had chosen, I wonder how the speed shifting goes on this all electrical cars. Has anyone tried an electrical car ?

They don't shift. Single speed only I think. Tesla tried a 2 speed in the roadster but they eventually cut it down to single speed.

They keep improving the interior a lot every year but the exterior keeps getting worse and worse

Does it need a grille at all? Is it functional or just aesthetic? It doesn't look like it lets any air through, but I suppose the car would look odd if they just did away with it entirely.

I would not mind putting the LED lights above the headlights on my car.

It does need a grill. What you see, as the grill, actually only has the last two rows open for air. Behind that is small radiator, with an 8 inch fan, used to cool the electric battery coolant..

I just read that this thing has a top speed of 84mph

That might be a deal breaker
