New focus owner looking to start modding!

So like the title says, I just bought myself a new car that happens to be a 2010 Ford Focus 2DR SE manual. Absolutely love the car for the most part. Love that it came with bluetooth, cruise control, aux, etc with just the SE and even manual transmission. The only things I wish it had came with and didn't would be push button start and remote start.

I picked this car over a Kia Forte Koupe and Chevy Cobalt because well the Koupe cost too much and the Cobalt is too plain and cheap feeling to me.
I'm however not honestly fully satisfied with the sporty look of my focus currently or I guess I should say lack of sporty look. So I'm looking to make it look more sporty closer to the level of a Forte Koupe, while maintaining my car's value for re-sale, and without spending a fortune.

The only mods I've been able to find so far is a "Duraflex Piranha" body kit on eBay for 450$ that includes a nice front and rear bumper and a "racing style" side skirt. I also found a CF Ford Sport spoiler for 250$, and nice projector headlights for 250$.
But I'd like to hear from other owners, are these good deals? Do you think these will look good on a my Focus? Is it worth it? Etc. Any suggestions are welcome.

On another subject, I'd like to swap the muffler at some point for something a bit sportier sounding. I don't like loud look at me exhausts but I'd like to hear a rumble as I go through the gears, seeing as how the car is basically silent as is. Any suggestions on a good muffler that won't be too loud but produces a nice rumble to it would be greatly appreciated.

Man you got the best front bumper already. Honestly if your not looking to upgrade anything more power wise I'd just cut out the rear resonator very cheap to do and It makes a pretty nice sound IMO not to loud but you can hear it. I really like those headlights! Not usually a fan of aftermarket but those are nice. I'd get new suspension to lower it first, then tune, stealth CAI and call it a day.

Not a fan of the body kits.

If it doesn't have a rear swaybar, I'd add that. 16'' wheels got the 3.8 gearing right?

Even if the front bumper is nice, I'd still like to have a more custom rear bumper and a sportier spoiler than than stock. Also yes it has a rear sway bar, but I don't know the gearing. They are 16's though. Also, as far as the exhaust goes all I see under my car is a cat and muffler. So no suggestions on a nice rear bumper that will fit or a spoiler or a muffler? Possible a custom hood suggestion?

No lunchbox in the back? Guess you could just go get a custom exhaust then from a shop, or order from fswerks or trubendz. I found this one looks ok CLICKY. Personally not a fan of aftermarket body kits, to each their own. I do like the roof spoiler in that kit tho!

You've already got the bumper most people want. Check out the 3dcarbon lip kit. That's what I'd do. Also, 17" wheels on a mk2 do wonders, and maybe a drop too. Then add an fswerks or steeda intake for some power and sound. If you're up for doing more than a muffler, fswerks stealth cat-back exhaust is a great add.

Not a big fan of lowering. I still feel a nice custom rear bumper, roof spoiler, and custom spoiler would make my MKII look far sportier, then possibly do the exhaust. However, I have had little luck finding anything but the roof spoiler. I have started to like my front bumper and don't really want sideskirts after seeing some on one but the rear bumper and spoiler is a big thing to me. The only heavily customized MKII I've seen in person looked wicked with a custom rear bumper and spoiler.

Looks like you have a great start w/ the ses bumpers, I'd lower it & add a bbk, tune, tint.

the only body kits that look good are the 3dcarbon ones. All the other ones look like crap and if you want to keep the resale value of your car you shouldn't buy one. 3dcarbon also makes a nice roof wing. Personally i wouldnt spend the money on a bodykit because the bumpers you have are already pretty sporty i think and the money would be better spent on some nice wheels and lowering it. but above all if you insist on buying a different bumper buy the whole kit because if you buy just one part of it, it makes the car look super cheap and not good.

You need to lower it if you want any kind of decent handling out of this thing. The Ford Racing kit for the 06-07 fits our cars with the 06-07 top hats. It's a nice drop that leaves you with great driveability.

Also there is no cat UNDER the car. The header and cat are all one thing. Whatever you saw was a muffler or resonator.
