Has a How-to and Mod List for Mk2 been done?

Has anyone put one of these together or has it been posted somewhere that I missed? A lot of the the how-to lists are specific to the Mk1, sometimes makes it difficult to find Mk2 modification information. I'd also like to know some of the cool little "car hack" mods that make something simpler. I'm starting to run out of modification for the car and I need to get creative.

I just order a BOAT LOAD of parts for my car and I'm planning on doing a build thread/how-to that will address the exact process for Mk2 cars. But that is a big task and I am trying to get everything done in one day, so not too sure if I want to go through with it.

Sure, some stuff is more Mk1 specific, but under the body panels, the Mk2 and Mk1 are basically the same exact car. Electronics are slightly different, but that's about where the differences end.

Pretty much^^^^^^^^ Yea, there are a few specific changes that ford did, but nothing really major, but a flyby wire tb. I could remove my cradle w/engine/trans & rear cradle & install in a '08-'11 car.

I just changed my clear 3rd brake light from clear to red. I should have done a how-to for it, but I forgot to take pictures.

All it takes is a MkII owner with the time & interest in putting one together.

We could use some help with addendums to the info. in other areas as well, such as the Brakes, Suspension & Chassis area.

Many links might refer to existing stickies & threads, but as lacole725 mentioned it would be useful for newer members to have a reference directing them to what DOES work.

We've got more members working on MkII's now, and that will likely continue. I see most of the MkII chat in the MkII pictures thread in the Showroom, talk it over & see what you folks can come up with. New thread here listing mods for the MkII could be "stickied" by a mod for this area, then "cleaned up" later if that works.

It can be done fairly easily with a few contributors.

luck

I could do a lot of it over the summer. Just need to know what really needs updating.
