Same here, the tray on top of the rear bumper, as well as
-front wheel bearings...replaced three so far
-excessive tire wear...had to put in an adjustable rear control arm to get the alignment close to zero instead of the "acceptable" alignment spec.
-peeling clear coat on wheels

Other than that I love this car, it's fun to drive, gets great fuel mileage and looks great.

I believe I drive about like most any sane and sober adult who drives an economy car.

I would also be extraordinarily shocked if you could do a burnout with this car, much less on sticky tires.

My one time burn out was for about a minute or two, both wheels spinning, about 150 feet uphill.

Now granted mine is a manual and all you have to do is dump the clutch right, but thats all stock lol

Yeah idk about the auto, but the manual has plenty of power to do burnouts all day long, lol

I have done them with the Falken tires I had on my car before my continentals, which were a decently sticky tire. Even with the auto it is not hard at all to hit one. I'm sure it could do one with the continentals as well, but I don't feel like wasting my treadlife(=

I have been a much more relaxed driver over the past several months. I even removed my header to tone the car down..
My gas mileage has started reaching all new highs though(=
My last tank lasted me over two weeks with all city driving. It averaged out to 39.4 MPG! and that is all city driving! I went 424 miles with about 10.761 gallons of fuel(=

Edit: I forgot I took this pic last night when I filled up. If I remember correctly the computer bases it on your last 50 miles driven. I know I probably won't get that high with city driving but it is nice to see it readout that even with all this in town driving. Also keep in mind I have over 400 lbs of car audio in my trunk (:

I don't care for the hard plastics in the interior, and the silver center console scratches easily.
Mines a coupe, so the big doors don't seem to shut flush with the body of the car.
4.20 axle ratio makes for worse fuel economy on the highway.
The paint is awful. My rocker panels are completely sandblasted on the bottom, and the fender lip is all peeled.
Headlights went almost a milky color and are covered in thousands of spiderweb cracks.
E-Brake squeaks going over bumps.

Other than that, not a bad car. Just can't wait to get a 2015 model.

I have visible negative camber in the rear. This is the only front drive car I have seen that wears the REAR tires more than the front! Have had the negative camber since new. I drive mine like a granny - but it's always the rears. In the summer, gas mileage is >35. I have had MULTIPLE 45MPG tanks. If I were driving it hard and purposefully wearing the tires via aggressive driving, the gas mileage would be poor.

I am buying camber bolts and having someone align the rear as close to 0 as possible.

To those that have problems shifting - is it always 2nd gear?

Miller88 - you can play with camber all you want, but toe-in has been the issue with rear tire wear on these from the first ones.

Check in the Brakes,Tires & suspension area to see all the old threads on this.

Just tryin' to help out, had one rear misaligned when I got mine & getting them right solved the problem.

MINIMUM spec. for toe in the rear works - toed toward the max it'll chew up tires.

Cheers

I think you have a unique problem because I've never had problems with shifting into 2nd gear. Have you looked at your shifter assembly for possible problems?
