08 focus front end bra

Does anyone have a recommendation for front end bras?

Its love bug season and I want to protect the front, esp. the condenser and radiator.

I saw a lebra one on Ebay but its for the coupes which I think has a different front bumper.

I have heard that bras aren't good for your paint. As the paint underneath will fade slower than the rest. On a side note, Lamin-X makes clear protective film for the front end. I have never tried it, but it could be an alternative. Here goes a link to their site: http://www.lamin-x.com/Ford-Focus-08...on-p/f026f.htm

I wouldn't do it. My dad had on on his brand new 95 sunfire back in the day.
The paint cracked on the front bumper and hood underneath the bra from the sun, moisture, heat etc.

Plus bra's are so 1990's bro

Bras are just fine if you're going on a road trip.

As long as you take them off when they are not necessary, your paint will be fine.

Beware of bras that have cotton inner liners or any type of liner that can scratch clearcoat.

3M clearbra is great but will oxidize over time and turn yellow.

I ended up buying a covercraft brand bra, should be here this week. I'll only be keeping it on during the love bug season, which lasts about 1 month.

That is vile.

I would be carpooling for a month if that was the case.

That is a different front bumper than your car. It might not fit right.
