Mustang Parts

I know the Mustang GT shift knob/boot is a direct swap for the 2nd gen, but what about other parts? Namely the ebrake boot, seats, steering wheel, etc. I'd love to swap the seats out with mustang leather seats if I could. The mounts/rails the same? Or would it have to be modified. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
PowerFocer

I'm replacing the shift boot with leather. Any chrome trim that will overlay the leather in order to create a more finished look?

I have a different Mustang shift knob, from a fully loaded GT Premium.

the shift boot is leather.... unless you mean you're getting a custom shift boot. and no. you'd have to custom make one. as for as i know theres nothing else interchangeable and the aftermarket barely has anything for our gen. they left the Focus w/ the 2008MY and jumped right back 2012MY ...IMO

Thanks. My boot is some sort of vinyl material. I'm replacing the boots with leather. I think a chrome ring surrounding the shift boot would look good, so I guess I'll have to fabricate. I agree, the aftermarket is pretty humble. With the styling change in the next generation, we'll probably have to get used to building our own stuff.

Here it is again with some plasti dip on the bottom half. The shift knob itself it just a big chunk of aluminum, it's much heftier than the stock knob.
