08-11 no, there is a way to convert the rear drums to disk but the stuff for it is growing EXCEEDINGLY difficult to find. At the moment no normal sales place (on line or otherwise) sells the kit. The only place that I have heard is people selling off the brakes from an SVT that was totaled. That is where mine came from.

i'd say get an ses. not because i have one, but because they're pretty cheap when it comes to resale value. you get all you need. people on here will say "well if i'm going to take it out why do i need it?" well yes, but if you can find a cheap ses for the price of what use to be a brand new se or s then why not buy an ses? and if you're going to buy one i'd go with the 09-11. no coupe's in 2011 but you do get the sporty package. and if you can find an sel thats the "luxury" model. same thing as an ses except it doesn't look sporty. o btw, if you buy one try and find a manual transmission. if you don't know how to drive stick, learn. these cars are much better with them

^^^ This

I would suggest an SES or an SEL if you can find one with a good price on it. But I would suggest ANYTHING over that if it has a manual trans in it, make no mistake they are RARE. Some other positives to having a manual trans are they are cheaper and have better MPG than the automatic counterparts. If you are looking for an coupe look between '08-'10, but only the '09-'11 didn't have those annoying fake chrome vent. If it's more standard features the later the year the more they tend to have, like I have traction control button on my '09 but for some reason most don't but after '10 you have them almost always...

Honestly it comes down to price, get the best newest thing with the lowest mileage on it that fits in your budget. That is unless it's a manual, in which case get that...
