Amber fogs, ya or nay?

My SE has no fog lights. Thats no good. I guess I could go the easy route and order a retrofit kit (if still available) and install them on my ride. I want something brighter though (still halogen) and I was thinking yellow.

I always heard that LeMans racer's had yellow fogs/lamps so that they had better contrast of the track during wet sessions. Can anyone validate?

Opinions and suggestions always welcome.

1. I would recommend getting a fog light wiring kit from ford May be able to shop around and find cheaper:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2009-20...sories&vxp=mtr

2. Use VonKruse's wiring instructions (VERY HELPFUL) and be sure to give rep if you use them:
How to: 08-11 OEM fog light install

4. Buy a set of HID Bulbs from DDM tuning and plug them in to your Ford Fog light wiring kit Will not find cheaper anywhere else:
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Ap...Raptor-HID-Kit

*Sidenote for the Halogen Bulb selection on DDM Tuning

Select:
Wattage: 35Watts
Bulb Type: H11
Bulb Color: 3000K (Yellow)
Leave the rest of the options blank unless you want brackets otherwise just Zip tie the ballasts

Yellow is your best bet in Fog/Rain/Snow for seeing better. But if you just want something that looks cool go 6000K white, 8000K for a blue.

anything else I missed fellas?

Any other questions let me know. If I don't answer I am sure one of the Experts of wiring in lights will chime in. I mean, they are the reason I have all these answers.

Darder thats not halogens you refered to him they are hids.
But i would highly suggest going hids. they cant be beat and they are the same price or cheaper than buying the expensive halogen bulbs. DDM tuning Hids are very reliable also. Here is my ddm tuning 35w Hids in 3k yellow.
in the second pic only my fogs are on check out the output(=
