2011 Fog Light Problems

Hello,

I've lurked on & off for awhile just learning things. I tried to search but not good at it.

In just over a year my 11 SES has broken the drivers side fog light twice. Am I just unlucky or is there possibly something stressing it in the mounting system.

Does anyone know if there are any type of aftermarket covers/protectors for the fog lights.

Thanks for any ideas.

WHat part of the fog light keeps breaking? The mounting braket? The housing? Oh, pictures would also help us immesly.

The glass itself is breaking. The first time the bulb still worked. This time the glass and bulb broke. So more than likely a rock or something hit it. Kind of expensive though.
Just wondering if there may be a way to cover it and still not take away the use.

Hmmm the only thing i can think of would be a laminx film found on the fswerks.com site.... They dont specifically have fog film for 2nd gen on the fswerks site but i would imagine 05-07 film might work...maybe someone can confirm this?
