Talking Window tinting + headlights

I guess its that time of the year to start a new tinting thread and find out if there is anything new out there - I m having my windows tinted, and was asked if I wanted the 'limo' tint - it would not be any more expensive then any of the other colors -

No decisions, any suggestions/comments - pro's/cons ??? - and here in Michigan it is illegal to tint the headlights ...

don't tint your headlights. makes it very hard to use them.
"limo" tint is 5%, meaning only 5% of light comes through it. looks good, but can be hard to see out of at night. 20% is the most common and is a good in between for darkness and functionality. make sure you check state laws to see what is allowed there.

^^^^ agreed! I had light tint on my headlights, but I cut out the area where the beam came out. You may also look into the ceramic core tint, its the best for heat control without going full limo like my car.

Limo tint is very very dark. I had it in my civic and was very hard to see at night.

oK, i L GO WITH THE 20%, they told me the reason cops don't like the deep dark tints is because they cant see if you are wearing seat belts !! Sounds like a plan to me ~~

not so much the seat belts, but they can't see what's going on in the car. can't tell if you have a weapon, or how many people are in the car. it's for their safety that they don't like dark tint.
