Ideas.....New Plan!! What do we think?

Hello,

So these are my new ideas:

-Maybe window tint?
-Weathertech floormats or OEM Focus Floormats
-Illuminated door sill plates
-Leather on seats and maybe a two toned steering wheel
-Rims like this.
-LED CCFL Halo Projector Headlights in black.
(Maybe HID's or simply brighter halogens like silverstar or putco)

-OEM SES Dark Tint Tail lights

-Ford Focus Rear Skirt - 3dCarbon or OEM Focus Coupe Bumper

-OEM 2009 Focus Coupe Front Bumper Cover

-Chrome Window Sill Moldings
-LED's:
Reverse
License Plate: 42draft bulbs or these depending on color of 42 drafts.
Tail/Stop
Map lights
Side marker
Parking/Signal: I dont know exactly. Maybe switchbacks??
Cargo

Feel free to add any comments or suggestions. What lights dont I need or will I need etc If I get projector headlamps.....?
How are my ideas?
Any other comments?
I also have no idea about how to go about relays or the LED blinking thing and nor will I know how to install projectors or some LED's.

I want it to be unique and reflect what I like without being like everyone else...but looking at it, it does resemble some other cars....

Ha ha, well even if you look like most of the 2nd Gen's on this board, you will look like about .003% of all the other focus's on the road so I would say you are unique. Now this is just my opinion but here is what I think of your list.

- Tint: approved
- Floor Mats: If you get rubber, I think you could save money with ford OEM over weathertech (can't imagine they are that great) excluding the Trunk Liner... I think those would be usefull IMO
- Illuminated Sill plates: approved
- Leather: Approved
- Rims: Approved (LOVE THE EAP's)!!!!
- Headlights: Like those headlights just don't like the LED's on the front.... also undecided on halo's
- Tinted Tails: Approved
- Rear Skirt or coupe bumper: I would go with the skirt, probably cheaper and easier to find plus gives you same(ish) look so the cost benefit makes me lean toward the skirt.
- Focus Coupe Front Bumper: Approved (make sure you get fogs to go with it )
- Chrome window sill molding: not really my style

LED's
- ALL: Approved
Thoughts: get the 42 draft, I have them and really like them (pic also shows upgraded LED reverse)

Reverse-Plate Bulb by DarderSauce, on Flickr

Now I don't have the Side Marker LED's but here are my thoughts....the side markers are behind an amber plate in the headlights so I feel like this would be a waste of $$ over regular bulbs. But hey with all the upgrades you are looking @ what is $5?

- Parking/Signal Lights: I am partial to switchbacks and that is what I am going to be doing to my car.

I am sure Crice8 or Slammed_2.0 will chime in for the lights you are going to want if you get projectors.... Very Knowledgeable.

As for your ideas you are off to a good start and I can tell you have done a lot of research to get a list like that. Plus when you are getting down to dome light upgrades you can tell these will not be the last lights you upgrade on your whip .

Lucky for you my friend I don't know how to install most of my lights either and will do my best to catalog everything and write up how to's for you so you can learn from my (many) mistakes I am sure to encounter. The only thing you are considering that I cannot help you with is the installation of projectors. But I am sure someone will give you an answer to that.

GOOD LUCK!

Eagle eyes projectors are great if you want to go HID buttttttt the beam pattern will still be the same as if had halogens in it. Sure they'll be brighter but the beam just too narrow for my liking. I myself went with a retrofit from

Theretrofitsource.com

All I can say is I like where your going.

-Maybe window tint? yes
-Weathertech floormats or OEM Focus Floormats ehh
-Illuminated door sill plates cool but not many people see them so worth the 60$
-Leather on seats and maybe a two toned steering wheel save your money for more speed
-Rims always good to look nice... i saving up for rims so i platidipped my stockers
-LED CCFL Halo Projector Headlights in black. just got them and love them... get ddm tuning 55k 60o0k... very bright

Tail-Light save money and tint with niteshade

-Ford Focus Rear Skirt - 3dCarbon or OEM Focus Coupe Bumper go with 3d carbon

-OEM 2009 Focus Coupe Front Bumper Cover always a win
[Chrome Window Sill Moldings pass
-LED's:

there is a whole thread about what led to buy and from where... remember with led you get what you pay for...

OEM Ford tint? I was going either OEM mats or weathertech but I dont know which. Rims? Yeah, I think I like the rear skirt better. Front bumper I really like and my car already has fog lights. I have chrome door handles and mirrors. My only concern with the 42 drafts is some say they are blue and I cant have blue and dont want to buy them if they are blue. Where are the reverse from? You make a good point about the switchbacks and side markers. How to would really help thanks. I can help you in any way I can. I look forward to what you have accomplished.
