tinting head lights with HIDs can damage it?

Hey I have HIDs on my headlights and they are REALLY bright at night so maybe I was thinking of tinting my front lights and I don't mean "blackin it out" like I did for my tail lights but maybe give it a smoked look so it's not a white popup from distance. What do you guys think? Will the heat from the HID cause the tint film to damage the head light plastic and cave in? It happend to my tail lights so I don't know if it could to my front lights.

see look at this pic, even when there is no sun it reflects white from a distance idk why.. :(

Well if Triton doesn't jump on the lami x film I would be willing to take that off your hands if the price is right Crice... I may wanna see what it looks like on the car if you would be willing to just drape it over and take a pic if that's possible.... or just a pic of it would be good I guess

55 shipped they were 55 plus 8$ shipping from amazon and laminx
and due to the backing on it it cannot be held up to it without removal. They are brand new in the package. Looks just like it came from them.
