Any1 have this issue with leather seats?

Does anyone else have leather seats on their focus and after a long time of use does your seat's leather start to pop up and kinda feel bubbly? Idk its hard to explain I guess I'll have to take a picture of it tomorrow but basically the leather kinda separates from the seat when you stand up and you can see it kinda inflating up anyone?

You mean it gets all ribbed? like you've over stretched it and it doesn't fit perfectly smooth over the foam anymore?

Well with 100k on the clock id say i have not. I can say that after leaving the windows up on a warm day the seat feels softer and that the side bolsters actually start to hold me.

Is it on the back rest or the actual part where you sit? I have noticed where you sit (butt) on some photos I have seen it looks like it is a little bubbled like you said. As for what it Feels like I don't have any input but I think I know what your talking about as far as how it looks.... I will attempt to find a pic.

My seat bottom looks the same way. I just assumed it was the natural tendency of the leather?

the leather has an elasticity and memory. i wonder if it is from the seat foam underneath breaking down and compressing. i know my right thigh is in heavier contact with the seat verses my left....

The leather seats in our cars are cheaply constructed and you'll see this on just about all cheap leather seats. The foam settles and the leather stretches. Its just the way it is. Some people see it, some don't. It has a lot to do with your size, weight, and how you use the seat. If you've got your seat back at an angle then you are more likely to stretch out the leather, but if you sit upright then it won't be as noticeable over time.

I'm 5'8 weight 150 so I doubt thats an issue and I only have about 11k miles on the car so its roughly new but i'll take a picture soon and put it up. It doesn't feel different at all it still feels good/comfortable but it just looks sctreched out I dont have a problem with it I'm just hoping it wont stretch to the point it rips and yeah i did have a feeling its cheap leather
