Question keeping your cool

other than just putting up cardboard on the inside of the windows. any permanent ways to help keep the temp inside of the car during the day?

ca has this problem of tented windows they = cop magnet. leo's must know what is going on inside of your car at all times. it is a control thing.

like maybe alu louvers on the rear? not been able to find any for the focus.

full on car cover maybe.

i park all day in a NO shade area for my job...so need to make my own.

When I got my ceramic tint installed, I didn't see a huge difference in how hot the car was after sitting in the sun all day. But then again I have a black car. No matter how much tint you put on my windows, it will always be hot when you get into it in the summer.

On other colors, however, I'm sure ceramic tint will help.

your car will always get hot sitting the sun, straight up physics at work. Where ceramic tint helps is with blocking the heat/UV energy from coming through the windows. You won't feel like the sun is burning you. Having a light color car does help a little, but hot is hot. I live in Las Vegas, 120* sucks no matter what you do. You could also look into adding a heat barrier to the inside of the roof.

Harumph, I didn't know there was such a thing as ceramic tint. I bet that would help on a bright red car in MN..... It gets hot here in the summer.
