so yeah...

I went to a buddies' house in hemet to buy some precut and fitted mud flaps
which btw are SICK! as you know what!!

and I asked him to look at my car and see why my car was making this
BANG*POP* sound

he looked at my suspension 2 seconds later and he was like < oh damn here is the problem right here....<

well i guess my (passenger) H&R coilovers is damaged..
the sway bar mount on the coilover is bent
making this pop BANG* noise when accelerating 1st and 2nd gear
i can feel it in the pedal..

ill take pictures tomorrow and show yall
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
jus need to ask; how do i go about the warranty?
i know i gotta send pictures or even the shock to H&R but at what address? Email? or call them?
but if i send the shock i will be out of a car and this is my DD.

Special thanks to Aaron and Reggie!!
-Derek

If you haven't found out yet, H&R carries lifetime for original purchaser. I've called them and told me to contact the place of purchase and go through them for claims. I've already done it for my rear springs. Lucky I didn't have to send them back anything.

As far as the strut, you will have to send it and and H&R will inspect the strut and either repair it or send out a new one. I told them this car was my dd but they can't do nothing about the strut unless they have it.

Is it possible you have your OEM stuff? This happen to me but driver side. It wasn't bad but I just fixed it with pliers and straighten it out. I'm sure your running factor sway links. That's causing your issue. Invest into adjustable links and that problem will go away

Mike,
adjustable sway links?? WHERE can I purchase these? please.

oh and yes i talked to H&R about this prob.
they said I gotta send them the broken strut and in return they'd send a new one... so i gotta buy another one first and they'd reimburse ME
or wait to have the part shipped and installed
but this is my DD and i accidentally threw away my OEMs
),,,,;

but fortunately I AM GOING TO BE ABLE TO HOOK THIS UP
cant wait for the end result...!!!!! hahaha (:

I like that, "accidentally through away my stock ones", i straight up through mine away as soon as they hit the ground! There is know way mine is ever going back. But I would see if someone had some old drop suspension parts to let you roll around on while your getting your stuff warranted. Good luck, hope it works out for you

As far as OEM, Its a habit for me to keep any part i replace unless its unusable or non repairable.

I still have my OEM suspension that only has around 2K miles on it.

The sway links i purchase on this site for $105 shipped. Any color you like.

http://dominanteng.com/about/

Here they are installed. Got them powdercoated red.

As you see on the bottom right hand of the picture, you can see where my OEM sway links would hit the inner fender well. Causing a very bad clunking noise over bumps and quick turns. After install, all the clunking is gone. Now i have a squeaking noise from my upper strut mount going out. Hope this helps out!
