Rearview Mirror broke/glitched IDK.

So my auto dimming rearview mirror won’t un dim. If I wiggle it then it will come back to normal, and then go dark. Anybody know what I could do short of running it into the shop and asking them?

i called my tech. he says it sounds like either a short in the mirror or the light sensor needs to be replaced/adjusted, more so a broken sensor. he things when you wiggle the pigtail you actually cut power to the mirror momentarily, causing it to undim. i asked him was there anything you could do and he said no and due to teh sensitivity of the sensors and how fragile they are, he doesnt recommend tampering with it any further.
