I think other people have said that they should be ok in the stock housings, you would have to just watch and make sure it doesnt get too hot to melt anything. On those nokya's see on the bottom left of the box, it says S2, thats stage 2(higher wattage) if you get stage 1s its stock wattage.

I just got some 2500k yellow Nokya fog bulbs for my 2010 the stage 1s, and they are really nice.

I have 65watt h9's. I had nokya 2500k and they burnt my bowls so i took them out. I don't see a problem as long as you drive with them on. I wouldn't sit for long periods of time with them on without getting air flow to them.

Yea, but what wattage....thats where you have the possibility of anything melting is with a higher wattage, hotter bulb.

I would be more concerned with the wiring than the bulb housings. If you begin melting wire insulation, that is a serious issue. The Focus is built to a price, so the wiring is sized for the amperage draw of the 55W bulbs. If you increase that by 50% you are asking for trouble.
This might help with an upgraded system How To Make Your Own Wiring Harness For Fog Lights
Good Luck.
