new grille work on my 08(work in progress)

Yesterday i began cutting out the ford logo on my grille to create 2 straight bars. I saw this done by someone on the forum, i believe but just wanted to show you how you guys how i am doing it.

Materials i used:
drill with 3/16th bit
alcohol water
a little steel screen
composite repair
plastic spreader
wooden mixer
sand paper

some of the materials

I first cut the logo out with a 3/16s drill bit. just drilled through and pulled.
Then cleaned the area with alcohol and water.

used a composite material repair to fill in the hole. for a backing i used steel screen that feels a bit stiffer than a screen door.

After first coat...

The second coat is currently drying. tomorrow is sanding time

Alright well it isn't complete yet just finished all the sanding and primed it.
I used adhesion promoter and high filler primer after the second coat of composite repair to help with a few small pin holes, but didn't work as well as i thought so used a coat of icing. tomorrow i will put another coat of primer and paint it.
