Courtesy Wipe Feature

Hey,

Just wondering if it is possible to temporarily disable the courtesy wipe feature on my 09 focus SES for the winter as it just seems to make the window just as hard to see through after it does the courtesy wipe.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Yeah that would be sweet. That extra wipe is freakin annoying.

I'd like to turn that crap off too.

But I have found a way around it. Turn on your wipers THEN spray the washer fluid. When you are done spraying, turn off the wipers and it won't do the extra wipe

lol. courtesy wipe feature? Is that what it's called? Sounds like something you'd get from a high end toilet.

Jocee88,

Welcome to Focus Fanatics.
If there is anywhere that will have an answer, this forum will.

Hm, interesting question though; I'll be watching this post.
Actually I like that feature.
After I use the washers, that last delayed wipe usually
gets the long drip from the top of the windshield.

I'll see if I can get an answer.
