HID help needed on fogs

Okay so i purchased 6k HID heads and fogs from DDM. The quality seems good. I tested one of the headlights and it works fine. They are bi-xenon and both hi's and low's work.

I ordered the H11 fogs in 6k. I wired them all up but they will not turn on. I used their installation guide even and no luck. I plugged all the plugs (It seems idiot proof enough) but they still don't fire-up.

It got dark so I gave up for the night. Questions: Will the fogs not work if the headlights aren't fully wired up? Is there a trick to the plugs or some that need left unconnected? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Does the FoFo have reverse polarity? The plugs are designed to connect one way only.

I read this on the troubleshooter off DDM......

"If you install your HID kit and they do not turn on you may have reverse polarity. What this means is the power and ground wires are your vehicles stock harness are reversed. What you will have to do is plug the harness connector into the ballast backwards. You will be plugging in the connector from your car into the kit backwards. This will not harm the vehicle or the kit.

Note: Reverse Polarity is an issue with the cars wiring not the HID kit. Some cars come from the factory wired in an orientation that is reversed when compared to the HID kit. When using stock halogen bulbs, polarity has no effect, therefore, some manufactures will have the power and ground wires opposite of the HID kit. Some manufactures will have reverse polarity more then others. A lot of GM models have reverse polarity."

the only thing u can do is plug the hid kit backwards so plus so plus to minus and minus to plus. I have done it many times so it wont hurt ur hid kits.

This is the plug from the back of the HID bulb to the ballast. Is this the one that should switched?

This is the OEM connecter to the HID kit. Or should this one be switched?

I would do the one in the first pic. If that doesnt work try the one in the second pic but im pretty sure the first one should work since they are pretty much the same. Just turn the plug around and connect, it should still connect too just dont have them on when u try this.

I just did mine last week. Same thing I ran into. Take the plug going from the bulb, put it in the opposite way into the ballast. It will not be secure though i used 1 of the zip-ties to secure the plug to the ballast. The plug in the 1st pick is the plug you want. I ordered the 5000k's for the fogs, looks great. Though after your done mind putting up a pic of your 6000k's, kinda thinking of getting some other bulbs just for backups.
