Rear speakers in a 2008 coupe

Thanks to BradWhite of this forum and his docs @ I was easily able to remove the front door panels, but I see no way of getting at the rear side speakers. Anyone know how?

WHat im trying to do is install a Rockford fosgate 3sixty.2 which is a signal processor. An easier way to do this I think would be to find the rear speaker wires from under the trim inside the front doors and just run them from there, without even messing with the rear. This is a 2008 coupe 2 door

In this case I need to know what the wired look like. Anyone kow what color they are or where exactly they run. If im lucky I wouldnt even have to remove the headunit and console which would be awesome.

thanks a lot for any info, or if you got any questions about removing the door panels I can help

Hey man it's easier than the front panels.

1. Take the door sill pieces off. (Get a screwdriver or a plastic interior panel tool (PREFERRED))

2. Take the lower back seat out. There is a lever underneath the cushions on each side of the seat. Throw each lever over and lift up. The seat will pop right out.

3. Pull the door rubber off near the door jam. (This pulls off easily)

4. I usually grab the rear panel from the bottom (Reason why it's better to pull the seat) and just pull. The panel it just snapped in the shell of the car. It takes a good bit to pull it off so don't be shy about it.

5. You don't have to totally remove the panel. You can pull it away enough to get at the rear speaker.

Hope this helps...

Go behind the stereo to get access to the wires, and mount the unit behind the glovebox.
