custom hood

ok so my carbon evo hood is all fkd up so im wanting to customize my stock hood and cut my own vents in it using the skeleton on the underside as a template heres my ? what pieces should i remove and put mesh in to create my hood.

I would do what ever one is right above your intake so you can make it a ram air, or whatever air goes in it will go to the intake..... This is what i did on my zetec.



Kinda hard to see but , you get the idea.!

Im thinking yours would look cool if you cut out the blue and red spots on both sides of the hood. Hit me up if you need any help on how to do this.... i did mine over 6 years ago... buy i made one for a friend a few months ago and can give you some pointers!

here is a picture I found of the other hood... its on my buddies wagon its not finished but its getting there. We put that project on hold for a bit, he put a SVT engine and Tranny in it instead! lol. but this will give you a good look at what some of the cutt outs willl look like..





Oh and heres another one of my hood before i got the car painted.

i vote light blue dots, minus the very center one. im thinking itll give almost the same effect as hood spacers, so functionality would be the best route

Just the center light blue, or just the d-side dark blue. Something functional, so depending on where the intake is sitting is what will make this thing purty for me.
