how to take out headlight - 2010

Firstly i'm no noob, and its my first brand new car; so i dont wanna mess with it. Trying to install my hid kit and there was two little bolts to take out the headlight. too easy to be true...sure enough, it wont come out. feels like its wedged somewhere. any idea ??

I think I know where you can get a little more help...
Moved to "Exterior Body & Lighting Chat"

The earlier models have 2 bolts on top, and one underneath. (have to get behind the fender liner)
Maybe the 2010's have a similar setup?

Off topic...
What's with the 1129 in your screen name?
You didn't happen to have (or still have) build number 1129 SVT Focus, did you??

You need to remove that black/chrome grill in the front first. The third bolt is hiding underneath.
Here you go

It likes to fight you, once you get a bit of play and wiggle with the light, try and pull it straight up to release the metal clip underneath.

lol no, i'd say the most difficult part is getting the grille off, after that its just remove the 3 bolts and wiggle the light fixture while pulling upwards until it pops out of the clips underneath.
