Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps

I have a 2008 black coupe. I'm in the last stage of the performance mods and I'm looking at the interior and exterior. I'm looking at minimal carbon fiber accents (door pillars, license place frames and mirror caps - no hood). I've located all the parts but the mirror caps. I'm looking for real carbon fiber parts as I think it will give me a better color match. I've found this part for every other car but the Focus. Can anyone help me locate this part? I want the car to be clean and understated. Thanks.

Also, I'm trying to stay with a "modified stock" look and I'm installing Eibach springs and bars which will lower the body and hopefully eliminate the butt-in-the-air look the car was born with. I'm looking for a more aggressive look on the front end. Does anyone know of a lip that configures with the stock front end, and lowers the profile? Thanks again.

the 3dcarbon lip kit is sick. As far as i know, there arent any carbon mirror caps on the market. You might be able to commission some...

Check with zx360. He does great work with a product that looks the real deal. He has a thread here about an interior he did, check it out. I seriously doubt you'll find real CF here, unless for an all out race car. I'd bet there is someone selling them in the UK maybe.

His interior link
2010 Carbon Fiber interior.

Vinyl wrap would be the way to go. I just wrapped my mirror caps last night with gloss black vinyl, it was relatively easy with a heat gun. The CF vinyl might be more difficult, the carbon weave may distort as you stretch it over the mirror cap.

Thanks for all the information. I've discovered 3M carbon fiber DI-NOC wrap, and this product is exactly what I was looking for. It's a quality product, so there's some expense involved, but there's some cost savings in the installation. It's a very "forgiving" material in that it has its own adhesive which allows you to reposition it until you're satisfied. Applying heat (hair dryer, low setting heat gun) softens the material without distorting the fiber weave, and allows you to form it around some fairly complex corners. There are a number of instructional videos on the Internet. This gives me the "wrap around" effect that looks like real CF, as opposed to the 2D surface
applications that I've found on the web. So far, so good. I'm thinking of wrapping the plastic chrome grill with this stuff and installing some real chrome mesh in the "grille" sections. I have number of interior ideas for this product as well. The caution here is to keep the look of a CF accent, and not overdo it.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the mirror caps? I want to wrap a bit around the back, since this stuff seems to get hot enough to shrink while in the sun.

Here was my one-sided go at it
