Nite-Shaded Headlights

I think this is going to be one of those love it / hate it deals. I've been playing with nite-shading my headlights for a long time. I have a spare set and went through several attempts before I had to settle for what I've got now.

I wanted the nite-shade to cover the entire headlight but found that in order to get usable light out of the headlights you really have to polish the nite-shades very thin. Unfortunately before you get usable headlights the nite-shades is so thin it looks terrible.

So here's what I came up with.

So, what do you think?

I put love it just because it's a cool idea. I think it would look better on a black car or maybe if you body matched it. But I still like it

Sorry, I tried to like it, but I just can't, lol. I couldn't even really tell you what it is about it that I don't like, it just looks odd to me. +1 for being brave enough to nightshade your headlights, though.

I give him props for a unique idea/design. Not that shading the headlights is a new thing, but he got creative with it. I like it, even though im not fond of the 08-10 body style. I agree with another post that it would look better if the car was black. I like what he did with the grill to make it blend though. Is that niteshade also? Or paint?

Yes, the grill is nite-shaded also, so is the FORD emblem (front and rear).

Oh man that looks great! I know what you mean about covering the whole lens. Tried it myself and it looked terrible with the lights on. Cool when off though. And mine had a green tint to it.

Very well done

I dig it, B Dub. Way to keep using that ingenuity! Still the sickest 08 on FF.
