Exclamation Need Part Number for fender vents

Hi all,

My girlfriend has a 2009 Ford Focus Coupe and I want to get her the chrome fender vents but cannot seem to locate them online.

If you have a part number, I'd like to order it directly from the dealer. Do you know how much they run, and will I have to drill them in or is it a 3M applique?

Thanks for your help!

Come one man.... get with it.....

Anyways, sorry for the criticism...... but welcome to FF.

I think he's talking about the one's that are stock on the 2008's.
I think you'll have to drill holes to mount them. Most people who have them would like to take them off, but it leaves holes. Someone on here may have a set they've removed that they'll part with cheap. Check the Buy, Sell, Trade forum or post up in the Want to Buy, or PM Mike at Hilbish Ford. His screen name here is b16sir1991. He can give you pricing for new one's.

Wow. Thanks for the feedback I didn't want. I'm surprised you feel strongly towards a car that I don't own. This car belongs to my girlfriend, and she likes it and that's all that matters. I don't care about your preferences at all: I only care about what she wants.

Thank you very much for your help on this issue. I posted a WTB thread in the appropriate forum.

WTB - Chrome Fender Vents

If anyone has the generic equivalent that are 3M appliques, I'd love to buy those instead of drilling into her brand new car. She doesn't like it when I talk to her about modding it.

So far, I'm only seeing full fender replacements on google and such. Your local auto salvager may help.

Yeah, I'm very familiar with the fake vents as I have been a car guy for as long as I can remember. To me, I'm not a big fan of the vents. My favorite replacements are the ones you see on eBay that look pretty cool in the picture: right up to the point where you see it on cars on the road every now and then. Sure, they look great from a distance, but up close is a different story.

I'm definitely after something that looks like that because it's all for my lady. She likes it a lot, and I think, upon completing the other customizations I am planning, will look great on her car.

I don't really have anything else to offer. My car is a 2008 Scion xB - not really Ford friendly.

Plus, I'm all about customizing my ride. I just need a few parts and kinks to work out with hers. I just don't really want to drill holes in her car to put in that fake vent. Ha ha. I might just have to buy the three pack on eBay.

Welcome to FF, you'll find a lot of nice people and great info here. And others will also share their opinions. And there are a lot opinions regarding those fender vents.

However, you must keep her happy so the part numbers are 16G000 RH / 16G001 LH.

I would not drill holes in her new car, for those vents believe it or not you'd have to drill 5 holes for each one. I would just snap the mounting and alignment tabs off the back of the vents and use 3M tape around the entire perimeter of the vent. Line 'em up and press them in place. Mine are now held in place the same way after I color matched them.

Which you might want to her about (color matching). Here's a couple of pics of mine color matched.

Again, welcome to FF.
Brad
