need help with my antenna

I have a 2008 focus and a dont like the antenna on the car. I would like to take it off and putt a bmw fin on it but I dont know if I can do that and still have the am/fm and xm work. If I can how do I do it.

i have a honda s2000 antenna on my 2008 sedan. since it is a radio antenna it works great with no bad reception issues. ill find my thread where i posted pics of it...

the little bugger was expensive, $37 but i like it a lot

the good ol' shark fin. great idea. youre going to have to find out if the sirius-xm antenna is infact located in the antenna housing of if its somewhere else and if it is integrated into the antenna housing. if its not than you should have little headache, but if it is integrated, youre going to have to see if the sirius-xm antenna can be disconnected from the head unit and what type of connection it has. then you can route the sirius-xm antenna somewhere independent of the shark fin antenna. these are just ideas!

i honestly dont think it will flow with the design of the newer focus, and that a stubby antenna will look better and save a massive headache but i can respect the wanting-to-do-something-different aspect of this mod.
