12V supply in trunk?

Just wondering, does anyone know of something in the 09 sedan trunk that is 12v and always on?
I'm trying to hook up some interior lights for the back and just stash the wiring in the trunk for simplicity

Do I have to end up dragging a wire from the front?

I put an Escape power point receptacle in my '08. I ran the hot wire from an unused 20 or 30 amp-hot all the time-fused source in the fuse panel under the steering column. There are several unused, fused take offs in the panel. Check out the Owner's Manual.

under the carpet, its really easy especially if you unclip the bac seat there are two little levers under te bottom of the back seat that unclip it really easy and you are able to get under the carpet extremly easy.

you mean the last layer of carpet or the floor mat carpet?

Also about the spare fuses in the fusebox up front

I see in the manual it says it is spare and not used but does that mean I can hook something up to it or is it "spare" like it's just a holder holding a spare fuse for you

Well as for the carpet you can get all the way down to the metal by popin out the seat it seriously will take u 1 min first try and 25 secs all other trys , and it pops right bac in in like 10 sec.

As for the fuses I belive they are active, but I just use a add a circuit from local autozone and connect in to a fuse being used so that I know a head of time if its on only when the car is on instead of always power.

All the unused circuits I tested were hot-some all the time some keyed. I just tucked the wire under the kick panel, door sill trim panels, and rear seat/trunk panel. It's easy!

Ok I'll go take a look at it now
I want to get it done before it gets dark today so I can test out the lights

I've never added anything to the existing fusebox on a vehicle before so this is going to be something new for me
