3D Carbon Body Kit on 08' Sedan

I finally have my Christmas present installed !!!

This is the 6 piece body kit from 3D Carbon for the 08' sedan.

This kit fits like a glove, I did not have a single issue with any piece when I did the install.

The body shop that did the paint was very impressed with the quality of this kit and the lack of preparation required because of that.

I do have to add one disclaimer: The front of my car is currently not sitting at the proper height. I had a strut break on me and the passenger side is sporting a stock strut assembly at the moment and the drivers side coil over is cranked up to level the car.

So let's get to the pictures.

Here's the kit unpainted;

And here it is after painting;

Drivers side from a distance;

Passenger side a little bit closer;

Front Air Dam;

Side Skirts;

Rear Lower Skirt (two tone, the center is "trim black")

Trunk and Window Spoiler;

Couple of random pics;

EDIT: Pictures with the front strut fixed and front end lowered again are on page six (6)

No, had a local body shop paint it for me. I'm not that good with a spray gun yet.

I was about to say that you did a really amazing job. How much did you pay for the paint job?
Like that body kit. Wish they had it for the 00-04

They did an amazing job, it matches perfectly! The painting cost $600. Before they painted the kit they went out to 3D Carbon and downloaded the painting and prep instructions so they even had the correct places masked off where I'd be applying the 3M tape later. Saved me a lot of time having clean tape flanges.

For anyone in or around Tacoma, WA. I'll give J&J Auto Body on South Tacoma Way a plug here for the great job they did for me.

Wow Brad, I was actually looking at these kits today and man it looks good! I'm definitely going to go with this later on!

I'm also curious, how much for the kit itself and the paintjob?
Also where did you order this bad boy from? Ford?

Man that looks good!

nice stuff, looking great. biggest flaw with your car is it's a sedan! lol, i think all those touches, plus the little roof spoiler, would look amazing on a coupe (eh, i'm young, haha) but seriously, one of the top 2 or 3 08/09s on here, if not the best. loving it. and that front end, wow that sucker is high, get on it! i like that rear end best of the whole kit though, looks mean.

haha, nah, i just prefer the 08/09 coupes over the sedans. the coupes have really grown on me since the did the little 09 changes, but the sedans are getting there for me! especially if they all looked like this bad boy.
