Pillar Posts

Hi All - I recently traded in my 2000 Focus for a brand new 2008 Silver Focus SES. The only thing I am not happy about is the black pillar posts. I really do not like the way it looks with silver. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can spruce them up? I was thinking of getting Chrome covers that you can stick on them but did not know how they hold up. Any suggestions recommendations would be great!

Thanks

I am not great at painting so was hoping to avoid that! Plus I do not know how good the paint will stick or what it will look like on the plastic. I was thinking of going with something like this (Just the pillars though and not the rest):

Ouch that is a hefty tag. Paint will stick fine if you prep it right. No issues.

screw chrome, i think its very 90's style. Paint em to match or leave em. I think the contrast is really nice.
