Wow, I thought it was going to be harder than that to remove the cluster from my '07 SE Sedan. I have one out also and also want to swap them out for LED's.

Anyone with the '07 that changed their's to LED's can offer any tips on which LED's to get? I know I need to take it apart to sand off the back of the cluster (other How-To) for converting. But I want to get the proper LED's.

Thanks again!

Did you find out how to do this?

Look how long its been, old post. Have you tried it yourself? Or just swap it out w/ another one.

The black trim piece is an integral part of the lens, which is easily removed from the cluster assembly (four tabs two at the top two at the bottom). The hard part is finding a silver trim one as those, to my knowledge, only came on the Focus ST models which relatively speaking there are not many of.
