Power Window MOD

Ok i have recently been in my friends BMW 325 is...its pretty nice yes its a 95 but has sooo many options and for beinmg a 95 it has a lot of cool stuff, one thing i thought was neat was the power windows, were next to his shifter....

Can you move the power window controls down by the shifter? That would be sick, its like right there for you, well does anyone think it can be done?

Absolutely possible. I do customized interiors on cars and thats really easy to do. also why don't you just add a second master switch instead of move it . or do you just plan on shaveing the door panels?

Try ford or the local salvage yard. As far as interior lights if I'm thinking on the same page. You mean in the center console, dash, doors, and center instrument cluster. If this is right you could try useing light gel lenses. Then back all the panels you want the color change on.

Remove the air controls. Dis assemble the the controll box. you will see where the lenses for the light is supposed to shine through. Cut the gel lense to fit.
Light gel lenses are used mostly in stage lighting par cans like at concerts. it is a thin colored plastic that can with stand very high temps. Any good music shop should have them in many colors and they are really inexpensive so even if there is a goof it won't set you back. Usually they are 6x6 or 8x8.

I see, I didnt know if you where going to replace the bulb or leave the bulb. In that case it would change the color. All you need is the smled, cboard, and to tap into the power.
Thought you ment the whole interior.
