short shifer ?

i took a look at how my reverse lockout works and it is very simple, i was wondering if any of u have done away with it? and if i cut the shaft down a little wouldnt that reduce my shift lenghts by a little?, and then i could just use a new knob with a set scre design so i woulnt have the thread the end of the freshly cut shaft. any thoughts?????

thanks, anthony

I removed my reverse lockout and cut 2-inches off the top.

Shorter shifter and somewhat a shorter throw.

I can post the tools required if your interested in cutting your stock shifter
