Good Trim Dash Kits

Has anyone ever had trouble with their good trim kits not fitting right? I thought all my pieces were fine for my Carbon Fiber kit I just put it but the piece around the shifter isnt wide enough so it sits on the shifter boot.. should I just take a razor and make a cut so it will fit or leave it alone? Let me know!

i havent and probably wont botherwith a dash kit. if im gonna do something to change my intereior ill do it myself, id suggest not wasting stupid money on a dash kit unless its aluminum or carbon fiber and just take the factory pieces off and paint em what You want em to be colored. the plus with that is obviously you wont have problems with the pieces fitting. But ChromeChica, if you think cutting it will help, make it so, lol.

i was working has a designer on a shop that produce dash trim last year (Gemico Products Inc, affiliate with Florida Auto Trim)

i think i'm the only one who have a perfect fit because i redesign it for to my taste, i waste a lot of time and material to make it fit well, but its won't cost my anything...

you can see my chrome dash trim kit in my photo gallery
