question for experianced custom moders

I have a pass that is stuck to my window that allows me to drive thru toll plazas w/o stoping and using change.. ppl in FL will know it as epass or sunpass.. It really kinda ugly there on my window even tho I have it hidden behind my mirror it can still be seen from the outside and ruins the look of my car..

has anyone or can anyone figgure out a way to maybe take out the computer board inside and put it in the mirror so It wont be noticable anymore

I'll post pics tomorrow(i hafta shut down and restart for my comp to recognise my phone)
but if anyone knows of this being done or of why it will or wont work I would appreciate it..

I've had my 05 focus for 3 wks now so I'm a lil nervous when it come to taking things apart so if someone is willing to figgure out a how to, or work with me online or even if your in the orlando area work with me physically I would be greatly in your debt

Here in CT and MA, we have EZ-Pass. I seen them mounted to the front license plate using the existed top screws. They used to have the kind that you desribed around here, but I haven't seen them in a long time. Perhaps you have an older model...?

Whenever I use I-PASS (Illinois Tollway), I just put the pass on the dashboard when I'm going through the tolls. Though the pass itself allows for mounting on the windshield, I also don't like the look of it that way and just put it on the dash when I need it

Cheers!

if it doesn't have to be visible why don't you just mount in on the underside of your hood?

Just paint it black... that way it's not so distracting.

or can you cram in into your headliner, with the sensor/transmitter sticking out a little bit so It's almost touching the glass.

If its waterproof try to find some way to mount it right behind the grille, because there is no solid material like metal to block it......Good luck.
