Looking for Harness mount....

Hey, guys, I saw this in a car show up in Bellview WA at the Mustang Roundup and need to know if anyone knows where to find another one.

It is a bar that mounted between the latch points for the rear seats and clicked in place, and this guy had his two top straps for his 5-point harness running off of them. not only did it look good, but it seems like the best place to secure the belts down to.

Hope this all made sense.

I have an 04 SVTF and am getting into racing at Portland International Raceway at track days with the local clubs. It is loads of fun and I am looking at installing harnesses.

I saw WD40's camera harness and am Definitely goinf to build one of those!

Thanks,

Good luck. The company that I found said they were going to make one but that has been about a year ago.

Let me know if you find something. If I cant find something soon I am just going to use my rear stress bar as a mounting point and keep the back seats folded down.

The majority of people probably just clip into rear seat belts...or the anchors for the rear seat belts.

Ideal angle would actually be straight back....which is why only a roll bar is the perfect place to mount. Very few people want to take that extra step, for what is essentially a bling item for almost everyone. You're actually safer in many regards (if you don't have rollover protection, and aren't mounting in a way to prevent submarining) with the stock lapbelt.

Well, i do need to find a solution soon. The next track day is on the 14th of September. The harnesses will only be used on track days. The stock lap belts do just fine for every day stuff. I would like a bit more to hold me to the seat.. something I can tighten permanently, for the track.
Is there a specific brand people recommend?

Do they have to be extra long to reach these mounts?

If so, what length of straps should I look for?
