You just need to make sure the shift knob you're looking for states it has a reverse lockout. I sell some shift knobs from Momo that have it, and am about to put one up in the for sale section that looks very similar to the one you pictured.

i got a better idea. Mine had that reverse lock out, and i had trouble finding a knob that fit. The first thing i did was just leave the bottom screw on peice of the knob off. That way the reverse lock out ring could slide up over the knob. But wut i recently did was just remove the reverse lock. You can take out in like 3 min with a small screwdriver.

I had a Type-R shift knob in mine for a while. It had blue LEDs and looked really cool at night. Eventually the battery ran out and I removed it because the stock knob had better grip anyways.

You could always just remove the reverse interlock and use whatever shift know you want...

Its pretty easy...unscrew the shift knob, then remove the shift boot. You'll see the reverse interlock mechanism...all you have to do is remove the top part that you pull on and the two plastic bars that link the top to the bottom, and then turn the plastic part at the bottom so it clears the interlock. Its really not that complex of a system once you get a look at it, all it is is a little piece of plastic that interferes with the shifter being pushed into R.
