Unhappy Race Seat Install

I did a search on installing aftermarket seats but did not come up with much. Does anyone know exactly what you have to do to put in new seats? I know you need to buy new bases and the seats I was looking at come with the sliders. Do you need to do any fabricating even after you buy the aftermarket bases? Any help would be awsome.

Nope all quality racing seats, Corbeau, Recaro, Sparco Etc all come with seat brackets. Most all their brackets Also Slide. The brackets bolt right into the stock seat bolt holes. There are 4. Very easy install.

Most come with a manual/install how-to, so it shouldn't be too hard.

I'm pretty sure no drilling or anything like that is involved, but I haven't installed any. I want to get a pair too, but damn college is kinda getting in the way.

No, usually you have to buy the brackets seperate from the seats.
They are available but many do not "come with" the brackets

Most should fit no problem, i would think.
I am having mine torn out and new seat mounts fabbed up and welded.

Is there any different bracket options? Like a "lower" bracket so your seat sits closer to the floor of the car?

i'm not asking about the bracket so much as the latch that the seat belt buckles into, you know the clip with the red button. Sorry not trying to sound like i'm getting smart with ne1. do most race seats come with a belt clip already installed?
