Converting manual windows to power

Can this be done? And if so, how hard of a conversion is it? Anyone know of any how to's on the subject? I am sick of habing manual windows and would love some power. Do the controls for the power go where the manual crank handle is?

I tried to do this a while back. There are websites that sell kits also. It might be easier to do it that way because if you get one out of the focus you would need the whole nine yards. Ford was so cheap that they only run the wires to the harness for your speakers. PM me if you have any other questions.

yeah i would go with autoloc...not only do they make some great products. If you have any questions they normally have no problem answering them, even with install walkthroughs. I bought some stuff from them when i used to have a cavalier, great company.

Wow, umm, not tryin to be a buzzkill err nothing but i just looked through Autoloc and the cheapest window kit i could find was $165.. and that's without any switches, eep..

Is their anywhere else that sells decent kits?

Also, if I'm just lookin in the wrong spot let me know, I have a tendancy to be clueless..

I got a SPAL kit off of ebay for $88. a 2 door kit with illuminated switches. I mounted the switches in the center console just behind the shifter. fairly easy install and I also installed a 4 door kit on my wife's Xterra. Fairly simple and I know jack when it comes to electrical work.
