05 zx3 vents and dials

Anyone know how to remove the vents and dials on the 2005 zx3? I have figured out that some of the vents pop out easily, (the round defroster vents) but the others aren't coming out so easy. Also, the knobs for the AC and fan controls don't seem to want to pop off. Any suggestions?

just did this and painted mine. the shroud that surronuds the vent pops out of place if you pry them up. start in the middle of the top. pry it up. careful cause the clips will break
pull the ac knobs off

out of curiosity, how hard do youneed to pull on the dials? I pulled hard enough that I couldn't retain my grip on the knobs and they still didn't come off.
