e-brake handle

Ive recently finished painting my interior and think that a aftermarket e-brake handle would be a sweet touch to finish that section of the car. The only problem im having is that i cant find a way to get the oem handle off. Just wonderin if someone knows how to do this, if it can be done at all.

Do a SEARCH on here but I believe you have to CUT the stock one off (like with a razor blade) but I'm not 100% sure, just can't remember right now.

hey morpheus, it really is that simple, just take an x-acto knife and make 3 or 4 passes from the base straight up to the button, it takes a little while, but it's really that simple, the actual "meat" of the handle is really hard abs plastic, so don't worry about cutting too deep, i put the sparco handle from the rs in mine, i think their might be a pic of it in my gallery. good luck.

Well some universal handles would fit, but most require an adapter for the focus. MOMO for example has that sort of adapter for their E-brake.
